Stephen Clarke resigns as Chief Archivist
Stephen Clarke has resigned as Chief Archivist, to pursue other opportunities more closely aligned with his passion for digital technology and transformation.

Anahera Morehu, Kaihautū Māori o te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga, will act as Chief Archivist from 17 October for a period of at least 6 months, while we advance recruitment.
While we regret Stephen’s resignation, we understand, and respect Stephen’s decision to focus on what’s important to him.
